Hair extension length is determined by the actual length of the hair stretched out. Please take a look at our chart to get a general idea of where the different textures might fall.

Should I Buy Short-Term or Long-Term Hair Pieces or Hair Extensions
Long-term or short-term hair use decisions depend on how you like to wear your hair and your budget. As stated before, a more long-term hair extension or hair piece application needs a professional for the installation. These types of application techniques are worn 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and become a part of your normal hair grooming process. The natural touch-up time depends on your hair growth pattern which is 2-3 months. A more short-term attachment process can be done daily at home and does not need any special equipment or removal process.

Do Hair Extensions Shed or Tangle?

What is Remi Hair?
Remi hair means all the hair cuticles are going in the same direction. This helps to prevent unnatural matting. When the cuticles are going in multiple directions the hair extensions or hair piece will lock together because the hair strands are not all going in the same direction. Although all natural hair tangles, including hair extensions and hair pieces, unnatural matting is caused by hair strands going in opposite directions. Our Remi hair helps to prevent unnatural matting. Lower quality hair extensions or hair pieces use hair strands that are going in multiple directions. There is no real way to tell the difference between Remi and non-Remi hair until you use it.
Professional Tip: Always buy from companies you trust, that their product is Remi hair.

If you buy hair extensions that are dramatically different from your natural texture and it’s a long-term wear hair extension you will have to make sure that you style the texture in such a way that it blends perfectly. This also applies when you’re wearing a partial hair piece that integrates to your natural hair.
